SCANNER

Booth Management Consulting, LLC (BMC) is a diverse CPA firm providing accounting, auditing, and management consulting services to public and private clients nationwide. With an employee-friendly company environment that emphasizes quality of life, initiative, creativity, strong work ethics, and loyalty, we are seeking qualified, motivated, and progressive individuals to join our team as Scanners to work onsite with our government client. 
 

Key Tasks:

  • Work with the records storage contractor to coordinate record delivery, staging, and return
  • Prepare the records by removing of staples, removing pages from prongs
  • Scan records into a separate folder in the provided shared area on the Hanford network
  • Check scan images quality to ensure the entire document was captured in the scan and is legible, clear, and unblemished
  • Utilizing the provided index or similar process
  • Ensure that all records in the collection were captured

 

Education/Qualifications

  • High school degree (or equivalent).
  • Basic computing skills required, adequate to run scanning equipment and review documents in electronic format and link documents to indexing.
  • Ability to stay focused on repetitive task, work neatly, and consistently.
  • Ability to quickly determine data elements critical for indexing.
  • Ability to take direction from various work leads.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative group setting.
  • Ability to lift records boxes weighing up to 50 pounds from floor location onto a cart and to return boxes to staging area.
